After several months of job hunting, DH has accepted a job in Beaumont, TX. So--again--we move.
I did some house hunting with a realtor and made a few realizations. In a small town like Beaumont, there are not as many NEW homes being built. The available stock is older homes. Many renovated, some well, some badly.
After walking through more than 20 houses, I made my selection based on 'feeling it'. I picked a Mid Century Modern, one story, ranch style that is the size of my current home in Humble.
Good news is that it is single owner. Bad news is that it needs some work. A lot of work.
So, as soon as I close on that house, I'm going to start posting the before and after pictures as I put this house in order and feather my nest.
